2. How you found us

3. Why you want to do this ride

I love to ride and this sounds like a great opportunity to ride and hopefully help a National interest in promoting safe cycling from cities across the country.

4. Tell us about your touring experience- if little or none, indicate many miles have you ridden over the last year:

I rode across the United States from Astoria, Oregon to Portsmouth, New Hampshire in 2004 with America By Bicycle and had a wonderful experience. I ride with the Santa Cruz Cycling Club and try to ride my bike home from San Jose to Santa Cruz as often as my schedule, weather and light allows.

5. Tell us about your bike

I have a Trek touring bike that I will ride this summer and I have a Serotta road bike.

 6. Describe your training regimen

I ride as often and as many miles as I am able with work interference.

7. How are you making time for this

I am a teacher and have the last 2 weeks of June and also July off.

8. What are your fears about doing this ride

Only the pace of being in specific cities on specific dates and hope to stay healthy and fit.
