11. What are your thoughts about your rides?

The National Bicycle Greenway promotes great cycling fellowship among
the various cycling communities (hi-Wheelers, low wheelers, recumbent,
drop-bar, straight-bar), and the hospitality of cities along the beautiful
American River. I find that anyone and everyone is welcome to enjoy the more than
32 miles of cycling bliss we have up here as well as the friendly people along the way.
I always enjoy this ride!

The pace of the ride is always pleasant as we all know are promoting the cycling jewel
of the Sacramento valley region. The hospitality tents that were set up by the
communities refreshed us with ample food, hydration, and friendship. I
am glad that I know the route so I can assist in any way possible like
sweeping the route or being the advance messenger. We were fortunate this year (2008) to
have the Mayor of Sacramento, Heather Fargo, present to send us off in style.
